MR. PAINLESS · RHODES & KOS

ASK US ANYTHING.

Everything people ask us before, during and after the chair — booking, pricing, pain, healing. If it’s not here, just call or walk in.

01 — BOOKING & PRICING

BEFORE YOU BOOK.

Appointments, walk-ins, prices and how the design process works.

Walk-ins are welcome 7 days a week at both studios. Booking ahead simply guarantees your artist and time slot, which we recommend in high season.

Prices depend on size and detail. Come by the shop, work on the design with our receptionist, and we print it to exact size — then we can estimate the price. You’ll always know the cost before the needle comes out.

Visit us in the first days of your trip and book your appointment for the day you wish. That way the tattoo gets its critical first healing days before you fly, swim or sunbathe.

From fine line and realism to bold blackwork and fully custom designs — we do it all. Whatever the style, the focus is the same: a tattoo tailored to your vision.

Absolutely — bring a drawing, a photo, or even a rough idea. We’ll refine it with you, print it to exact size on your skin, and only start once you’ve approved it.

02 — PAIN & PREP

ABOUT THE PAIN.

The honest answers — and how to make your session as easy as possible.

Tattoos have a partial level of pain depending on the type and placement, as well as your individual pain tolerance — but it is always easily manageable.

  1. Get enough sleep.
  2. Don’t get a tattoo when you’re sick.
  3. Stay hydrated.
  4. Eat a meal beforehand.
  5. Avoid alcohol.

Please don’t. Alcohol thins the blood, which makes the session harder on you and on the result. Come rested, fed and hydrated instead — it genuinely makes a difference.

Areas close to bone or with thin skin are generally more sensitive than fleshier spots. Placement also affects how a design sits and ages, so tell us your idea and we’ll advise honestly on both.

03 — HEALING & AFTERCARE

AFTER THE CHAIR.

Your tattoo heals in the first two weeks. Here’s how to protect it.

Remove the bandage within a couple of hours and wash the tattoo with water and soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply a thin film of Tattoo Care Butter or Lotion, removing any excess.

Wash the tattoo twice daily and use butter or lotion as needed to prevent dryness. Showering is fine, but do not allow it to soak. Wear clean, loose clothing over the area.

Yes. Do NOT pick or scratch any scabbing — let it come off on its own, usually within 7 to 10 days. Picking is the fastest way to pull ink out of a healing tattoo.

Not while it’s healing. Keep a fresh tattoo away from sun, swimming, hot tubs and unclean conditions. Once fully healed, use a high-SPF sunblock whenever it’s exposed — that’s what keeps it sharp for years.

04 — THE STUDIO

WHO YOU'RE TRUSTING.

Hygiene, locations and why people come back year after year.

Always. Sterile, single-use needles, sealed inks and spotless stations at both studios — and you’re welcome to watch us set up.
